Aix-en-Provence Wine Festival
From 11 a.m. onwards, enjoy the busy street life in front of the charming old houses along the famous Cours Mirabeau boulevard in Aix-en-Provence. Since 1985, the Brotherhood of King René’s Wine Waiters have organized the Aix-en-Provence Wine Festival here. It’s an enchanting location where you can discover, with your wine-tasting glass, the diversity and the elegance of the whites, reds and rosés from the hillsides of Aix-en-Provence. About 40 wine producers and cooperative wine cellars have stalls at the festival, alongside other local producers selling olive oils, the famous almond-shaped local sweets known as calissons, as well as honey, fruit and vegetables, and more besides.
