Un bonheur tout simple, comme la Vallée du Rhône.
Le Rhône nous l’aimons très méridional lorsque nous sommes jeunes, parce que c’est très abordable, très nature, un peu sauvage et qu’une soirée autour d’un feu de bois en Camargue, c’est un souvenir pour toute la vie.
Puis nous aimons aussi finir notre journée dans la région avec, par exemple, un Pélardon accompagné d’un beau Saint Joseph Blanc pas trop frais. Un bonheur tout simple, comme la Vallée du Rhône.
Plus nous vieillissons, plus nous remontons son cours, un peu comme des saumons. Les quadra bobos se « font » Avignon en période de festival, ce qui est un minimum quand on veut assumer son statut et croiser d’autres belges de la même espèce.
Les quinquagénaires ayant pignon sur rue possèdent souvent une seconde résidence entre Rhône et Luberon en plus de leur berline germaine.
Puis, les sexas redescendent un peu, pour se rapprocher de la mer, l’air y est un peu plus vif au cœur de l’été.
Nous aimons les truffes de la Drome, les vins des Côtes du Rhône et de la Vallée du Rhône, le Soleil qui se couche du côté du Mont Ventoux. Nous aimons cet accent un peu étrange qui fait rouler les cailloux et tinter les cloches.
Nous aimons les vins qu’ils soient friands et rouge, blancs et fruités, puissants comme du côté septentrional.
