Paper chase at Château du Haut-Pezaud | The greatest destinations in the vineyards of France – France’s official wine tourism portal
The mastermind behind this paper chase is Christine Borgers, born in Belgium and adopted by the Dordogne around 20 years ago. One of a new-wave of winemakers, Christine produces a constant stream of new ideas for visitors to Château du Haut-Pezaud, removing the mystique from winemaking and using a more accessible approach. Christine created these mascots to make sure you and your family enjoy the visit and learn about wine in a fun way. And all in the open air. Of course, each adventurer who finds Lolotte will receive a small prize before joining their parents in the cellars for a little tasting. And as if you needed another reason to visit Château du Haut-Pezaud, it’s worth noting that on 21 July, they’ll be celebrating Belgium’s National Day with some Monbazillac and red, rosé, white and sweet Bergerac.Game duration: approx. 1 hour. 4 age groups: 3 to 5 years – 6 to 8 years – 9 to 11 years and 12 to 14 years.
